Electromechanica has collaborated with Dr. Seung-Schik Yoo and his research team at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston to develop components for a bio-printer.

Electromechanica designed and fabricated the valve control drive system that synchronizes valve operation to printing head movement. The valve controllers allow the operator to control droplet formation by modulating valve opening time and fluid pressure. Two valve control modules can be paralleled for control of up to eight (8) dispensing valves.
